Dazzling Halfdome
Well, despite my travails with the Halfdome hat that forced me to fudge a few things on the last decrease rounds, I think the cap turned out really well. Below, an attractive male model shows you the completed hat in all its cashmere blend glory.
Here's a shot featuring the problematic decreases, which look just fine despite my tinkering.
I have already cast on for Halfdome II, but this time I subtracted those important two stitches. I'll let you know how the second project goes.
Again, many thanks to Yarn Boy for his great pattern!
Wishing you all the very best this Monday Eve.

Half Dome looks great. I finished mine yesterday but forgot about the 2 stitches when I did it in the round. Next one I'll do will be the medium size, what was I thinking, large....silly size queen!

I must say, that looks mighty cool.

The hat looks awesome! Your "mistakes" are all but invisible in the picture. And that modified SSK gives a nice symmetry to the decreases. I'm definitely going to have to try that next time.
