I'm up at 3:30 a.m. because my Percocet wore off in the night and I forgot to keep more pills on my night stand. D'oh!
I had read that day three after my liposuction would be the worst for pain and swelling, and so far that appears to be true. I could barely hoist myself out of bed.
I'm amazed that I was able to sneak out of the bedroom without Hudson immediately hopping up and thinking he is owed his breakfast. Those two days at daycare really worked their magic on him, it seems; he's one tired pup.
Ah--I spoke to soon. Hudson started whining at the bedroom door to be let out. Now he's lying on my lap, sound asleep. Since it's just 2 degrees outside right not, I hope he'll sleep until his other daddy wakes up. I really don't want to go out in the cold. I dread the thought I trying to get into my winter coat. So much moving around, lifting of the arms, etc..
Oh thank god, my pain killers are kicking in. Guess I'll climb back into bed. Sorry to be so Judy Garland / Valley of the Dolls in this post. I hope to be back to my usual chipper self soon.
