Darren and I celebrated Thanksgiving twice this year, as we usually do. On Thursday we drove down to La Crosse, WI and ate turkey with Darren's family.
We stayed in the Radisson on the shore of the Mississippi. On Friday night, the city lit the lights that run the length of Riverside Park. Darren and I spent a lovely hour strolling through the displays before going out for drinks and dinner.
This tall tree of lights marked the entrance to the park.
I thought this fire-breathing dragon was rather nifty.
I make my debut as a penguin...
This igloo served as a warming house, but the temperature was perfect for strolling.
Basking under the cheery lights, wearing a scarf I made ages ago for Darren. I look a bit deranged.
One more lovely vision, not found in the park, but rather in a bar up the street. (Nope, I'm never off duty...)
looks like you are already in the spirit. Even though my tree is up, being in So. Fla. I don't seem to be able to get in the mood. We even have the ac going.
Happy holidays
